Chandler Contigo

Head to Galveston Elementary this Friday to enjoy Chandler Contigo: a vibrant and joyous festival that will showcase community, art, music, and food from Chandler’s diverse Hispanic Community. Attendees can enjoy performances by Mariachi Group Azteca Del Oro, Instituto De Folklor Mexicano, Samba Dancers, youth performers and more. Check out local food vendors selling different Latin cuisines; Mexican, Columbian, El Salvadorian and more, as well as a wide variety of community groups and organizations you can support.

SISTAS by Dorothy Marcic

Currently running off Broadway, SISTAS by Dorothy Marcic is a nonstop celebration of African American women told through top-40 music, from Bessie Smith to Beyoncé. The story follows five women as they prepare to bury the matriarch of their family. As they clean grandma’s attic, they find love and old memories packed away, as wall as hit tunes that trace the history of Black women, from the trials of the 1930’s through the girl groups of the ’60’s to the empowerment of the ’90’s.

Arizona Restaurant Week

‘Tis the season for the return of one of the most popular culinary events of the year. During these 10 days, diners can take advantage of three-course meals and prix-fixe menus for just $33 or $44 per person at participating restaurants around the state.

Fountain Hills Oktoberfest

Date: September 24, 2021 to September 25, 2021
Time: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Price: $10, Kids 12 & Under: Free

Enjoy the ONLY authentic German-style Oktoberfest in the Phoenix Metro Area – right here in Fountain Hills! Sing along with old-time German drinking songs and dance a jig on our dance floor while enjoying the music of a live German band. Compete for prizes in our contests. How long can you hold your beer stein? Can you blow the Alphorn better than everyone else? Do you have the best German costume in town? This event is for all ages. The free Kids’ Zone includes bounce houses and climbing walls.
