FALL FESTIVAL AT VERTUCCIO FARMS

Date: October 13, 2021 to October 31, 2021
Time: Mon-Thurs 3pm to 9pm, Fri and Sat 9am to 10pm and Sunday 12pm-7pm Sunday
Price: $12. Ages 2 and younger free with accompanied by a paying adult.

Celebrate the season at Vertuccio Farms with this family-friendly festival. A seven-acre corn maze, mule-powered wagon rides (Saturday & Sunday only), mini golf, pumpkin bowling, barrel train rides, farm animals and lots more are part of the festivities. Pick up a perfect pumpkin for your Halloween jack-o-lantern while you’re there. Please note there are additional fees for pumpkins, concessions, and specialty vendors such as pony rides and the face and pumpkin painter. Outside food allowed but they ask you don’t bring large pull coolers. Parking is free and pets on leashes are weclome.

FOREVER BECOMING: YOUNG PHOENIX ARTISTS

Date: October 13, 2021 to January 23, 2022
Time: Wed, Fri-Sun 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thu 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Timed admissions now required.
Price: $10 non-members, $7 students, seniors (65+), and veterans, Free with ONE Membership.

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art’s new exhibit, Forever Becoming: Young Phoenix Artists, offers a glimpse at the emerging artistic talent in and around Phoenix, Arizona. The works in this exhibition speak to the resilience and determination of a new generation of artists who expose the complexities of becoming within the rapidly evolving ethos of today.
This exhibition presents painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, and performance that addresses a variety of topics including marginalized communities, social justice, environmental degradation, exploration of sexuality, and reckoning with personal narratives. Artists include Mia B. Adams, Merryn Omotayo Alaka, Vincent Chung, Steffi Faircloth, Sam Fresquez, Estephania González, Lena Klett, Cydnei Mallory, Brianna Noble, Lily Reeves, and Papay Solomon.

PUMPKIN DAYS AND CORN MAZE AT TOLMACHOFF FARMS

Date: October 13, 2021 to October 31, 2021
Time: Wed-Thu 12-8 PM, Fri- Sat 12-11 PM, Sun 10 AM – 8 PM
Price: $15

Let the unforgettable fall season memories began at Tolmachoff Farms! Experience the ultimate holiday outing where there is something for the whole family, including: A great big pumpkin patch, 6 acre family corn maze with a new theme every year (search for pieces of your map as you walk through), mini corn maze (perfect for the little ones), and a haunted corn maze (Do you have the courage to enter?). Other activities featured are the petting zoo, train ride, hay pyramid, corn box, adult/child pedal cart track, jumping pillow and much more. Additional cost for pumpkins, train rides and food.

SCHNEPF FARMS PUMPKIN AND CHILI PARTY

Date: October 14, 2021 to October 31, 2021
Time: Thursdays and Sundays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
Price: $20 (plus tax) per person

Throughout October, Schnepf Farms offers fun fall activities like hay rides, a 4-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, pig races and, of course, chili! Grab party food like a burger, chili dinner or succotash, and take a spin on exciting rides or the farm’s train. Fireworks light up the sky Friday and Saturday nights. Don’t forget to grab your Halloween pumpkin during your visit, and, if you dare, stop by the East Valley’s newest haunted mobile attraction, Fueled by fear, the Wreckoning! (not included in admission)
