Down Payment Assistance Loans
Down payment assistance programs are offered as grants which do not need to be paid back as long as the programs’ stipulations are met.
Arizona offers many down payment assistance programs for FHA and conventional loans including:

- AzFHA Home Plus
- Pathway to Purchase (P2P)

DPA Loan Programs
Home In Five
Up to 3.5% of loan amount provided as a non-repayable grant to be used towards down payment or closing costs on a Maricopa County home. Maximum purchase price is $300,000 and is eligible for single family homes, condos and townhomes.
AzFHA Home Pus
Up to 5% of loan amount provided as a non-repayable grant to be used towards down payment or closing costs on an Arizona home.Maximum purchase price is $371,936 and is eligible for single family homes, condos and townhomes.
Pathway To Purchase (P2P)
Up to 10% of loan amount, up to $20,000 provided as a deferred-payment second mortgage with 0% interest. Grant can be used towards down payment or closing costs for specific Arizona communities. This grant does not need to be paid back if occupant is in home for more than five years. Eligible communities include Arizona City, Avondale, Buckeye, Casa Grande, Coolidge, Douglas, El Mirage, Fort Mohave, Goodyear, Huachua City, Laveen, Maricopa, Red Rock , Sierra Vista, Snowflake, Tucson, and Yuma.
